ABOUT
Freshly-picked flowers and greens, arranged creatively in unique, up-cycled containers - necessary luxuries!
I've been growing flowers and arranging for friends and family, and friends of friends and family, for decades.
Flowers in the house are just right.
The smell, the beauty, and the connection with the earth remind us of the joy of living.
I am so grateful to be able to offer unique flower arrangements at an affordable price,
sourced from local gardeners and farmers where possible.
Flower containers are donated or up-cycled from local sources.
Specializing in locally-grown, pesticide-free plants and flowers;
for you, me, and for the sake of bees, bugs, butterflies and birds
Our pollinator friends have suffered dramatic reductions in the last few decades. Growing plants in our own gardens or on balconies, using natural methods for pest control, creates ribbons of nourishment for our "b" friends.
Love of gardening and having flowers and plants inside has been nurtured through generations. Family lore holds that our great-great-great-grandmother, a Scottish nobleman's daughter, fled her castle to run away with the gardener's son. They escaped to Australia and themselves became gardeners, and parents and grandparents of gardeners.
Our treasured grandfather was gardener at Adelaide Botanical Gardens for most of his 100 years.
Happiness really is refreshed by having flowers and plants in the home.
Thank you for participating!
